Rockwall

Potts Point

Garth had a talent for realising the potential of a property – and the temperament to cope with renovations and moving. The apartment in Rockwall, a comparatively compact place, had the essentials he wanted – a quiet position, northern light and views.

Gurner Street

Paddington

A relatively modern house, built on the site of a former panel beating business was metamorphosised into a home with Garth’s sensibility. The house was stripped back to the core but “fortunately every room and bathroom was in the right position”.

Villa Palma

Diamond Beach

Villa Palma is located at Diamond Beach on the mid-north coast of NSW, three hours north of Sydney. A luxury and private beach retreat was designed by Garth with a contemporary style in mind.

Altair

Rushcutters Bay

In the Engelen Moore designed building, Garth liked what he called “high living”. It had a northern aspect and amazing views. Importantly, it was somewhere he could entertain. He turned the formerly minimal apartment into a warm, welcoming home.

Villard

Potts Point

A new building surrounded by 30’s buildings, the penthouse was bought off-plan with the agreement it would be left as a shell so he could determine his own internal layout. He gave it a European flavour, slightly art deco.

Stewart Street

Paddington

Stewart Street was a tiny timber cottage tucked away in a Paddington laneway and featured in Belle in 1995. The small proportions were no impediment for Garth to create elegance on a scale usually reserved for grand homes.
